At which age should you teach your kid to pray?

Teach your kids to pray early.

1. Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said said to command your children to pray when they become 7 years old.

2. Beat them for prayer if they don’t pray when they become ten years old.

In this hadith It’s clearly mentioned that you should start teaching your chikdren to pray early. Be nice to them while you tach them and be strict to them so that they continue to pray as they grow older.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-‘As:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Command your children to pray when they become seven years old, and beat them for it (prayer) when they become ten years old; and arrange their beds (to sleep) separately.
