7 tips to start Ramadan in the best way

You should begin Ramadan with the same zeal, attention, and dedication with which you finished the last ten days of Ramadan the previous year. (If you didn’t finish well last year, stay tuned for a quick reminder: “How to start the best Ramadan?”)
Follow these seven steps and In Shaa Allah you’ll be on your way to start the best Ramadan
I understand that it appears to be a simple task. However, give it a shot! Today, try having the same level of passion in the following areas as you did last year and see where it leads you tomorrow:
- As you stand to pray your heart should be focused and taste the sweetness of it, your body should be peaceful, and your soul should be bathed in the light of prayer.
- When you do du’a (supplication), let it all out and give it to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala (exalted is He) today, feeling impoverished to him. The Prophet SAW said “The supplications of a fasting individual are accepted,”
- Now is the time to cry. Shed tears to Allah and ask him your needs. Tears emerge from fertile hearts like springs originate from healthy soil.
Cry to Allah (swt), seek Him, entreat Him, and flee to Him when you’re alone. “You will find him merciful and forgiving.”
- Remember Allah (swt) often. Know that every time His blessed names flow from your heart and tongue , “Remember Me and I will remember you,” and that wherever you remember Him (work, home, mosque, school, alone or in a group), He mentions you in front of the angels, says your name, and they seek blessings and forgiveness for you.
- Taste the sweetness of the Afterlife while being aware of the bitterness of this life. Remember how your heart felt the last ten days; nothing was more significant to you than moving closer to Him and away from the excesses of this world. Now is the time to summon your zeal. Because this is not your permanent residence, become a stranger or a traveller in this life!
- Be as careful with your time. “I know people who are more cautious with their time than bankers are with their money,” Ibn al-Qayyim said.
- Guard your words and your character now! Remember our Prophet’s words about someone who neglects the exterior components of fasting: “Allah would respond, ‘I have no need that you leave your food and drink.'”
