Eid Al-Adha prayers will take place at the iconic World Cup Stadium in Qatar

The famous Education City field from the FIFA World Cup will host Eid prayers for a lot of people at the end of this month.
The Eid al-Adha prayer, which is likely to happen on June 28, 2023, will bring people from all over Qatar to the Education City Stadium.
The Qatar Foundation set up this year’s event after Eid Al-Fitr prayers went well at the same place in April. That was the first time Eid prayers had ever been held at the stadium.
During the Eid prayers in April, people from all over the country came together on the football fields. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser made a special showing.
The Eid holiday is coming up in 10 days, and the Qatar Foundation has said that they want to “make it fun for everyone and welcome the most worshippers and visitors” at the famous World Cup stadium.
Eid Al-Adha, which is also called the “Feast of Sacrifice,” is a big Islamic holiday that remembers how the Prophet Ibrahim was ready to sacrifice his son as a sign of obedience to God.
On the morning of the tenth day of the month of Dhul Hijjah, a special prayer is said in a group, usually at a mosque or a unique prayer ground.
The Qatar Calendar House says that June 19 is the first day of the month of Dhul Hijjah.
When, where, and how
The praying service will begin at 5 a.m., and then people can celebrate Eid at the Education City Mosque until 9 a.m.
There will be a lot for the whole family to do at these events, like face painting, games, food, and drinks.
To make it easy for people to get to the event, the Education City Stadium can be reached by bus. Also, there will be plenty of parking spots at West Parking, Oxygen Park, and Al Shaqab Parking.
This project is part of the Qatar Foundation’s ongoing efforts to host community events that are open to everyone. For example, the Education City Stadium hosted thousands of people for Eid Al-Fitr services in April.
