As Muslims, we must remember that everything happens because of Allah s.w.ts will and divine wisdom. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. prayed to Allah s.w.t. through constant invocations using the language of love and servanthood while faced with difficulties and adversity.

Many prophetic traditions exist that teach us not just what to pray for, but also how to pray. Some of the prayers are recited on a daily basis, in the morning and afternoon, to emphasise the importance and advantages of such discipline.

As a result, our religious leaders have recommended us to strengthen our faith during these trying times by increasing our prayers and supplications to Allah s.w.t, as well as take preventative measures to help control the crisis, such as being vaccinated.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Muslim community has been praised for making sacrifices and adaptations to safeguard one another. Let us make a stronger dua for those who are ill, while continuing to take the essential steps to safeguard ourselves and our loved ones.

The wonderful thing is that Allah s.w.t. has promised to answer our prayers.

,وَقالَ رَبُّكُمُ اُدعُونِي أَستَجِب لَكُم

“Call upon Me, and I will respond to you,” says your Lord.

(40:60, Surah Ghafir)

Here are several Supplications (Dua) to seek well-being and protection from diseases from the magnificent prophetic heritage.
