3000 buses will be sent to Lebanon by Qatar. These buses were purchased by the Qatari government to provide transportation for guests to the stadium during the recently finished FIFA World Cup.

According to Lebanon’s media, the buses would be provided to help with the country’s public transportation crisis.

The topic was reportedly discussed with Qatari authorities on the sidelines of the FIFA World Cup by Prime Minister Najib Mikati. The aim to give some of the world cup infrastructure to underdeveloped nations served as the inspiration for the concept.

The donations will also consist of thousands of stadium seats, entire stadiums, and buses. In addition to the 1000 buses used to carry guests for free to stadiums, Qatar had purchased 3,000 additional buses.

After being awarded the privilege to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar made significant improvements to its transportation system and turned it into an interconnected network. The Doha Metro project was among them; it is the biggest Middle Eastern city mass transit project. It has 37 stations, three lines (red, gold, and green), about 18,000 taxis, and more than 3,000 electric bicycles along its 75 km length.

Additionally, according to a BBC Sports poll, the FIFA World Cup in Qatar was named the finest World Cup of the Century. The most recent FIFA World Cup, which was held in Qatar and is now over, received 78% of the vote for best world cup, according to the statistics.

Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, praised the Qatar FIFA World Cup for its inclusivity and diversity. The FIFA president told reporters that “many people from all over the world have travelled to Qatar and have found the Arab world, which they didn’t know or only knew for what was portrayed to them.”
